Volunteer to Conduct Mock Interviews!
Dr. LeAnne Coder from WKU contacted Mid South SHRM for Volunteers to conduct virtual mock interviews with her students. The interviewees are from her MGT/MKT 399 Career Readiness class, most of which are juniors in the Gordon Ford College of Business. For many of these students, this will be their first interview experience so they are hoping for constructive feedback to prepare them for the internship and full-time job market.

July SHRM Meeting
The July SHRM meeting will be held virtually on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. Our speakers will be Regina Jackson and Lindsay Porter. Ms. Jackson will be discussing the Sixth Circuit decision regarding Americans with Disabilities Act and the failure to accommodate and Ms. Porter will discuss new overtime rules under the FLSA and the status of the FTC non-compete rule. Continuing Education hours will be available for this meeting.
